Wrapping up Summer 2016

Summer is on it's way out. ...Well summer events are wrapping up at least. If memory serves, it will feel like summer for a while longer. Blues on the Green finished up early August. Two Tons rang out out the last Summer in the Park concert in San Marcos mid month. Jean and I caught the last Latin serenade on Town Lake the day after. The Austin Symphony had there last concert in the park this weekend. I'm look forward to a little lull in September before Autumn begins in earnest. Lauren and Taylor's Best Day Ever (So Far)

Jean and I went to down to Houston this weekend to attend my second cousin Lauren's wedding. Lauren's mom (my first cousin), Brenda, billed it as Lauren and Taylor's best day ever. It was an amazing night. We are happy we could be a part of it and wish them ever better days to come. The wedding didn't start until 5 pm so Saturday morning we partook in the delights of Southeast Houston/League City like this municipal park disc golf course. After disc golf we stopped by the Kemah boardwalk After a couple of rides on the Boardwalk Bullet (a wooden roller coaster) we experienced neither nausea nor excruciating neck pain. A win-win.
